Limelight IPL Sydney

Limelight is an IPL (intense pulsed light) treatment designed for the face. It uses gentle pulses of light to target redness and brown pigmentation, helping to even out the complexion and refresh dull or sun-affected skin.

Because the settings can be tailored to your skin tone and concern, Limelight is a popular choice for improving overall tone with little to no downtime. As always, we assess your skin at your consultation first.

Limelight is often used for:

  • Facial redness and flushing
  • Brown pigmentation and sun spots
  • Dull or uneven complexion

How Does Limelight Work?

Limelight uses broad-spectrum pulses of light rather than a single laser wavelength, which lets it target both redness and brown pigmentation across the face. The light is absorbed by the vessels and pigment, which are then reduced, leaving a clearer, more even complexion. Treatment settings are adjusted to your skin tone and the concern being treated.

What Can Limelight Treat?

It’s commonly used to improve facial redness, small vessels, brown spots and general dullness or sun damage. It’s a good option when the concern is overall tone rather than a single deep mark, and suitability is confirmed at your consultation.

What to Expect and Downtime

Limelight typically has little downtime. Brown spots may darken briefly before flaking away over the following days, and any redness usually settles quickly. A course of treatments often gives the best result, and we’ll advise what to expect.

Who Is Limelight Suitable For?

Limelight suits many skin types, but IPL isn’t right for every skin tone or concern, so we assess your skin carefully and let you know whether it, or another treatment, is the best fit.
