IMPORTANT CHANGES

• A physician’s referral will be required for ALL surgical consultations.
• Cosmetic surgery requires a minimum of TWO consultations.
• Plastic Surgery Patients will be required to take a patient Pre-screening cosmetic surgery preparedness assessment test (PAT).
• A seven-day cooling-off period after signing a consent form before scheduling surgery and paying a deposit, etc.
• Before undergoing surgery, patients will have a more detailed Informed Consent.
• Higher Standards in Training and Experience – CPD Requirements
• Soon, accredited surgical facilities will be required.
• More stringent advertising requirements for cosmetic surgery
