The Vampire Facelift

The Vampire Facelift

The Vampire Facelift is a non-surgical method that stimulates collagen production to smooth fine lines, wrinkles and diminish scarring. Commonly used in the facial, eye, décolletage and neck areas. It relies on the natural healing power of the body as volume, skin texture and tone is rejuvenated through the patient’s own platelet cells.

How is it performed?

Prior to the procedure, a numbing cream is applied to minimise discomfort. A small amount of your own blood is drawn like a blood test which is centrifuged to separate the plasma from the red blood cells. The plasma is reinjected into the problematic area in small amounts, using a thin needle and massaged into the skin. This releases collagen stimulating factors and bio active proteins necessary to repair and regenerate the tissue.

A major benefit of Vampire treatments is that it works on all three layers of the skin- the epidermal, dermal and sub-dermal layers. This gives a more fresh and youthful look from within, while improving the skin quality and texture in the long term.

What to expect after the Vampire Facial

Minor swelling and redness occurs for approximately two days and settles after that. The results will be increasingly noticeable around 3 months as collagen stimulation begins. Improved skin texture, tone and hydration is usually visible from 9 months to a year after the procedure.

How many treatments are required to receive the full effects of the Vampire Facelift?

Three treatments separated by 4-6 week intervals are required for long lasting effects and top up treatments every year or two, help maintain the youthful appearance.

Can I combine my Vampire Facial with other treatments?

When the Vampire Facial is used in conjunction with other cosmetic treatments it accelerates the results by first improving the quality of the skin being treated. This includes dermal fillers, laser and light therapies, skin chemical peels and microdermabrasion.
