Vampire Treatments use your own blood platelets to stimulate new cell growth, aiding in the improvement of skin texture and to restore facial volume; rejuvenating the skin.
Vampire injections have been around for decades, helping to heal injuries, particular tendon damage but more recently the treatment is being sought out in the cosmetic beauty industry with celebrities such as Kim Kardashian being huge advocates for the natural skin rejuvenation treatment (aka Vampire Facial).
How does it work?
Your blood is essentially made up of four components: Red blood cells, white blood cells, plasma and platelets. We extract your blood and put it into a special machine, separating each component. Once your cells have been separated, the rich platelets are extracted and injected into the skin where rejuvenation is requested.
What are the benefits?
It’s a much more natural approach to anti-ageing and avoids issues such as allergic reactions as you’re using your body’s own natural resources. Other benefits include:
- Produces Healthy Skin Cells and Collagen
- No allergic reactions, as you are using your body’s own natural materials
- Cell renewal
- Long-term smoothing of wrinkles
- Increased longevity of existing fillers
- Faster healing following aesthetic treatments (such as laser or chemical peels)
What areas on the face and body is the Vampire Treatment best for?
Vampire injections are a great alternative for patients who are interested in improving their skins condition and appearance but not wanting to use muscle relaxants or fillers. It is a great method to reduce fine lines and improve the overall texture of the skin, generally to the neck and face area.
Will I see results appear after one treatment?
Most patients will require three treatments at four to six week intervals. The first thing people notice is an improvement in skin texture and elasticity. Collagen production can take up to three months to occur and the results can differ depending on the individual.
