Rosacea is a frustrating skin condition characterised by the redness, flushing and pustules. It is often under-diagnosed or misdiagnosed (as acne) as the pustules can look like “zits”

Patients often complains about looking red and flushed with triggers like alcohol, activities that increases their core body temperature -> spas and saunas, after exercise, after hot bath or shower, drinking hot beverages. There is also a history of sensitivity to certain creams and cosmetics applied on the skin
Signs of rosacea include telangiectasias (broken small blood vessels on the face) general redness and “ruddy” complexion and pustules resembling acne on the skin
